This assemblage is made up of one strand of 50's blue plastic beads knotted with 10k gold plate beads, one strand of knotted bronze 10 mm Mother of Pearl beads, one signed Trifari 1960's chain, and one unsigned goldtone chain.

In the 1920's, Coco Chanel incorporated costume jewelry into her fashion philosophy, catapulting fashion jewelry into the market. During the war years, many of the best designers and makers of fine jewelry moved to the fashion industry resulting in the high standard of craftsmanship.

These necklaces are made with brooches dating from the 1920's, 30's, and 40's.
